Each year, the MISD Council of PTAs sponsors a reflections contest.  This year's theme was  I am Hopeful Because... and Wester students didn't disappoint.  We had 4 winners (more than any other secondary school) 

The winners were from left to right): Colten Cardenas, Deja Castillo, McKenzie McMurry, and Madison Berry. 

Colten Cardenas received the overall award for excellence and will advance to the state competition

Deja Castillio also received the overall award for excellence and will advance to the state competition

McKenzie McMurry  also received the overall award for excellence and will advance to the state competition

Madison Berry received the award for excellence
