Tryouts will take place the week before spring break (more info to come). They will be on the football field. We will hit to 50 and 100 yards as well as some chipping. You must have a current physical and your own clubs to participate.

There is an A and B team for boys and girls. Each team will play three tournaments. If you are not a member at Walnut Creek Country Club practice will be at Mansfield National twice a week. Members will have scheduled practices twice a week as well. You must have your own transportation and we will practice until 5:45. It is encouraged to get out and practice as much as possible outside of practice time. Golf is a difficult game that takes a lot of work to refine your skills.

Proper attire at a golf course is not athletic wear from our school! It is a must that you wear nice shorts and a collared shirt when you go to the golf course. A blue collared shirt and black shorts will be required for tournaments.
